Back in my office today after working from the beach last week. A change of scenery sure does some good to reset and see things in a fresh way. Got my planner pulled up and trying to maximize the day! Microsoft 365 planner and Asana have been so helpful to keep track of projects and progress with my team. It cuts down on emails and allows for more streamlined communication. My team and I will use whatever you already have set up or get you on a tracking tool. What project management tool do you use?

Over the next few posts,​ I’d like to introduce you to some of the team members at LV VA. When creating a team core values are a great place to start. Core values are used internally as guiding principles your organization will operate by. Chances are if you've ever had an issue with an employee it's because they've violated a core value. Core values must be communicated often and celebrated! I’ve added these gals to my team because they embody the core values at LV VA. What is an extra hour of your time worth? What would you do with that time? . The team at LV VA is skilled to take tasks you delegate and complete them efficiently. Delegation allows you to recognize the items that must get completed but don’t have to be completed by you. Someone on our team will be able to do those tasks in half the time it takes you to do them because of their level of expertise. During your onboarding process, our team uses a tool created by EOS (Entrepreneur Operating System) that allows you to know what you need to delegate. It’s a simple yet effective way to get the ball rolling!

Been MIA on the gram for a few days because it’s been a busy week in the Vonfeldt household. Boss lady started swim lessons and had her 15 month appointment, the hubs is getting ready for his first official home brew tomorrow for the biz he and my BIL started @beeryougo and I’ve been working on proposals & lots of podcast stuff. It’s times like these that I’m so grateful for the days when I dug deep and worked ahead. I like to ask myself, what can I do today that my future self will thank me for? 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Take the time to set up an automated email so you don’t have to do it right when it has to go out. Or go ahead today and plan out your day tomorrow so you can jump right in when you get to your desk. A little bit now, pays off a lot later!

I wasn’t created to just do repetitive tasks. If you want a virtual assistant to do that they’re out there. And there are plenty of automated systems I can set up that will do those tasks for you. What I am created to do is help you take your business to the next level. You know all those things you’ve wanted to do but don’t have the time for? I like thinking, researching and using my brain. Today I began implementing a podcast 2.0 strategy for a client who said they wanted to take their podcast to the next level. We met on Friday to discuss a new strategy and by today the new process is in place to reach new listeners. Days like these really get me excited!

I find this so helpful​ so I know what is going on with my clients, my competitors,​ and in my field. This really helps to up your marketing game! I am so grateful that God chose me to be the little boss lady’s mama. I consider it a privilege to be a mom. Being a mom has brought out my greatest joys and my greatest fears. It’s seen me at my best and at my worst. I love my little girl more than anything in the world. My relationship with her is what inspires me to create margin for business owners as a virtual assistant so they can be more present in their kids lives. So today I am proud to be able to wear this shirt and support moms out there in their time of need. I wouldn’t make it without my community of moms that encourage me. Are you underutilizing the technology you pay for? ⠀⠀ Some of my clients use Microsoft 365. This was a HUGE learning curve for me as a Google suite and Mac gal. The perk of being a VA is that we have time to research and learn new ways​ to use technology to help you and your business. Yesterday I did a little training on some tips for 365 and here is what I learned. ⠀⠀ 1. It's meant to be used in one platform. Online or desktop. All of the apps are in one place if you stick to one platform. You will be frustrated if you are jumping around from browser​ view to desktop view. ⠀⠀ 2. There is a new feature in PowerPoint​ where you can rehearse your presentation with an​ AI coach! It will give you tips after you run through it letting you know your pace and what you can improve upon. ⠀⠀ 3. If you have a Word document that you want to make presentable to share with people you can turn it into a "webpage". Open the document and click transform. It will open an interactive and shareable page. It's completely done for you however you can change graphics and other elements. ⠀⠀ 4. Excel has a feature called Ideas. When you open up your ​spreadsheet it will give you ideas of how to present your data such as charts or pivot tables. Then it will create it for you. ⠀⠀ 5. There is an integration of Teams and Zoom. You can now send out a Zoom invite to someone for a Teams meeting. I haven't tried this yet but I could see how this would be very helpful! ⠀⠀ I am loving these ideas to make us work more efficiently​ using technology!

I heard a new definition of leadership the other day. "Leadership is the capacity to influence through connectedness." We are living in a time where it might be easy to allow connectedness to fall off our radar. However,​ we cannot advance our personal calling apart from being connected to others. It involves serving as well as asking for others to serve you. I believe that it is in this exchange that we influence​. As a mom, wife, sister, friend,​ and administrative support it can be hard to ask for help when I need it. This was a message I needed to hear. ⠀⠀ So, today how are you engaging in the exchange of giving and receiving​ help?

I sure am missing my coffee shop workdays. However I am excited thinking about all of the new ways that virtual assistants can help business owners during a pandemic. For example are you getting in touch with your customers quickly​ enough? Building trust with customers during a pandemic will reap great rewards when this is over. A virtual assistant can keep the line of communication with your customers strong. We can respond to your customers with the basic info they need quickly.​ This frees up you and your team to deal with complex issues. To do this, we would work with you to create automated responses for customers that would maintain your brand.
